Exclamation ...what the #$^& is going on in Area 51???

More super secret spy stuff!!!

I guess that since all those aliens decided to go home, the mad scientists at Groom Lake have been bored, and goofing off a bit, because here's more stuff that has been smuggled out...

I'm still trying to make heads & tails out of what I'm seeing, it APPEARS to be an LG 3006, but something is just...off....

...like a really short scale length, maybe a piccolo bass???

Weird electronics setup too...the pickups appear to be humbuckers and they're in odd locations...just two volume controls and a pickup selector switch instead of a blend...

...what is going on here?????

Freaky, a LG 3006, hmmm, with those piccolo strings, if you dropped the high C and F strings to B and E, would make chords easy as heck.....

Yes....I believe it is. Look at the position and size of the humbuckers....not to mention the bridge placement.

This is either some weird retrofit or a prototype that didn't quite fly.

Are you implying that this bass has shuffled off this mortal coil in some way????

It's here in the shop, I can see it, and it appears to be in quite good health....

And I think you're blind.

Please navigate to the #6045 thread and observe the more advanced pics and you should recognize a stark contrast in the differences I've previously mentioned.

OH COME ON! Anybody with a cerebral cortex can see that's a Bass for Midgets.

The boys at Roscoe are adhering to the Americans With Disabilities act and are producing basses for my height challenged brethren.

Now if they'll just produce a Roscoe for us four legged types, I'll reconsider our "March on Greensboro for Instrument Equality"

God Bless, Ray
