Damn, that sucks. I woulda thought they would be similar to Black Beauties, lifetime-wise. Well, I will see how they play out for me---that might be a determining factor as to whether or not I stick with em. But damn do they sound great so far.......

I just got some Black Beauties for my SKB. The first pack I got had two dead strings so, DR sent me another pack. That pack also had a slightly dead string but fortunately, it was different one so I just swapped it with one from the previous pack.

So far, I'm not too sure what to think about these strings as they are nothing like what I am used to. They seem somehow duller than others but, they are very mid forward like everyone here described which I like. My SKB is mid forward anyway so this makes that much more so which is a good thing.
