Yeah, Ditto Gard. (see my post reply from the playoff thread). So, should I expect my Roscoe T shirts this week????? Me thinks, Yes!

Enjoy the next 2 weeks, they are great (as a Pats fan, I know it well), please have the boys rest up well and then beat the Colts and please humilate the owner Irsay (can't stand him or Polian).

Geaux Saints

Sorry I missed this until now!

Man, thanks guys...what a night...I'm still peeling myself off the ceiling...unbelieveable...we (Saints fans) never thought we'd get here...I know there's a game left to play, but man...we're THERE, which it seemed we never would be....

My favorite moment last night was the WWL radio announcer's call of the OT FG to win the game:

"IT'S GOOD IT'S GOOD IT'S GOOD!!! PIGS FLY!!! HELL HAS FROZEN OVER!!! THE SAINTS ARE GOING TO THE SUPER BOWL!!!"

I'm just floored, I got like 3 hours sleep last night, the level of insanity in the entire area around NOLA is off the hook, my sister called like 3 times - once they were able to get a line out that is - telling me all kinds of crazy stories about her town (Slidell, where I grew up as well)....nuts, just nuts...

I am not ashamed to admit it, when that ball went through the uprights, I put my head on the table and cried like a little girl.

40+ years of frustration, incompetence, and flat BAD football, ERASED.

Can you tell I'm stoked?

It was cool to hear the kickers interview later. He said he could hardly sleep so he decided to call his dad at 2:30am. He told his dad he had a premonition that he would kick a 42 yard game winner from the right hash...Low and behold he was only 2 yards off..

This will be a fun game to watch and a WIN WIN for me...I could care less who wins...enjoy both teams.

Yeah, that was a great story, wasn't it? Hartley is a good kid overall, even though he did something particularly DUMB during camp (Adderall is NOT the right choice if you're going to be driving overnight...). Glad he got a chance to do that, must have been quite a feeling to see that ball go through the dead center of the uprights!
