We all are familiar with the picture displayed when you go to the Roscoe webpage. Now understand that I've no intent to offend anyone (the gentleman pictured might be Keith or Gard's uncle or cousin that may no longer be with us), I'm sure that whoever this guy is, he's a fine fellow.
However, I've personally never been able to connect with what the picture is saying. He doesn't really look like a bass player and seems to be clutching that Century in a way where you think of him as being emotionally traumatized... maybe Data has just come in the room and he's scared to death that the Datapoacher's gonna whack him over the head and take his new bass like he did the last one. Then he'd have to bum more pain medication from Clint. This is something many of us can relate to at least in part.
Nevertheless, Roscoehead brethren, we are upon a new year so please feel free to exercise all your creativity as we endeavor to come up with a new mascot dude for 2009.

Bottom line, it is time for a change! "2001 Space Odyssey" is ancient history.
Maybe we should go for Gov. Huckabee playing a Roscoe!
.....and the slogan: "You need a Roscoe to Play with the Big boys!" |

I figured that was a portrait of Keith Roscoe.

You'll see this guy holding a Century Sig. If you stare at it long enough you'll hear Amy Winehouse singing "try to make me go to rehab" |

The avatar is just a shot from a few years back that Gard sent when I was looking at different tops and necks.
Now...back to topic.
We need to start fresh with a new Roscoe dude because this guy just looks lost in the picture...the least he could do is move his right arm so you could see that gorgeous bass. If there were another frame following, you would expect to see a bouncer ripping that bass out of his hands and putting it back in it's stand on the stage.
C'mon guys, let's get creative!
