CONTEST TIME!
Here's the idea:
Put together a paragraph about why YOU should be in one of the banner ads on the left side of the page over <-- there, and/or a 10 or so word slogan (kinda like Clint's killer "Building The Groove One Bass At A Time" one...), include a photo of yourself (with your favorite Roscoe - 125 px wide by 300 px tall).
Once all the entries are in (we'll make a cut-off date decision in a day or so, say 2 weeks), I'll get the guys in the shop to narrow it to their favorite 3 entries, and all three will be in a rotating flash ad here at TB...
...so, who's up for it?
All entries should be via e-mail to: info@roscoeguitars.com

My problem - gig shots of me and the Roscoe usually entail me in a tuxedo. Maybe I could offer the 'James Bond in Casino Royale' or 'George Clooney at the Oscars' vibe...only with my ugly mug hiding behind a gorgeous Roscoe bass.
Paragraph? No problem? I've bought two of these darn things in the past year, and I've been playing the fretted beauty on nearly every gig. Now the slogan....that could be tough.... Because Gard says so, damnit.
How many Roscoes would a woodchuck own if a woodchuck....
Why, yes. I do have some Grey Poupon.
...obviously I still have some work to do. |

Honestly, I just wish I had my $$ so I could get a Roscoe so I could put myself in this contest!

Here is an example:
Let Roscoe fill-up (feel up) your bottom.
Feel free to mix and match any of the above to create your slogan.

I will throw some out here as examples:
Roscoe, bringing the booty to the groove.
Roscoe basses, because nothing else will do.

Roscoe, add some hand crafted booty to your sound.
Feel free to mix and match any of the above to create your slogan. |
Clint,
It sure sounds like you're trying to sabotage our slogan creativity! |

I have faith in Roscoe heads, I know you guys will come up with some that will lay my examples to waste. I will go delete some before anyone else sees them.
Joe, you will have to edit your post to remove some.

Nonetheless, mixing and matching, I come up with: Booty nothing else feel up hand crafted booty.
Thank you. I'll be here all week. |

Okay - sorry for the hijack. More coffee for me, and back on-track for the thread. I'll be entering early next week, just for the fun of it and in the spirit of participation in support of a company that offers amazing instruments. I've got a trio date down in Santa Cruz, and a photographer (okay, drummer...po-TAY-toe, po-TAH-toe) lined up to snap shots of both SKB's. |

However, I can think of about another two dozen regulars on the board (as well as customers of mine...not a mutually exclusive group here), that could EASILY win this one. |

Gard could send it now but it would proabably be hard to string up in its current condition!
And.......be nice to Gard.....he controls your basses destiny! |
