Well, thankfully I took it to rehearsal last night for one last hurrah, because after playing her again I've decided she is staying. I'm partial to the passive J sound right now (hence my rationalization for selling), but the feel and playability of this bass is just ridiculous. Not to mention the looks and then the modern tone when that's what I'm going for. I don't know what I was thinking...
As a side note, I'd love a SKB 3005 with passive jazz pickups. I've seen the recent mock up pics and say PLEASE DO IT!
Anyway, here's my baby and she's staying:

Good call on keepin' her. It'd be a shame to sell that one.
God Bless, Ray

The wife and I might have gone hungry for a couple of months but it would have been worth it IMO. That is a seriously sweet bass. My wife thanks you for keeping it though. |

See the way I envision it, I return to "reclaim" my property and Clint's Cheap Charge Credit Conglomerate would all the sudden become "mobile" and hard to locate
God Bless, Ray
