I'm a bassist myself, and have been on TB for 7 years or so, but I'm in need of a bassist anyway. I've released a solo acoustic album on Analyzer Records, and I'm trying to put together a live band to support it.
The material is dark, dissonant, and a bit weird - so this won't be your typical acoustic gig. The plan is to put a band together, have a few rehearsals, and then start booking gigs. This won't be a just for fun project - there will be real work involved, with real results.
What I'm looking for in a bassist: somebody at least as good as me.

Ideally, an acoustic fretless and/or upright player who enjoys playing more than just root notes. Most of my songs will be open to interpretation, so each player will be responsible for discovering and writing their own parts.
