Hi folks, we are looking for a creative minded musician to play bass. Our play is influenced by bands such as Rush, Iron Maiden, VH, Zepp, Pink Floyd, ZZ Top. Basicaly hard rock from 70's and 80's. We are not really interested in playing Heavy Metal like Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth or similiar genre. I personaly like that music but at 41 I am not really interested in playing it. Iron Maiden is about as heavy as we go. We like progressive music, ie Rush, Yes. You dont have to be a pro, or even necessarily be able to play all Rush songs. If your competent, can hold a beat, and willing to learn. That is all I can ask for. We are laid back and have a permanent place to practice where if desired you could leave your gear. We have a couple originals recorded. We use a Roland Juno Gi workstation with 8 Vtrack didgital recorder. In the future we would like to proffessionaly record. We would also like to gig. We practice at least twice a week. Slackers NOT WELCOME or Drug users. Nothing wrong with a drink but if you have no license from DUI we are not interested. We are in our forties, NOT STUFFY by any means but have no time for drama or adolescent and young 20's year old non sense.
