Band seeks Bass Player (Encinitas, CA)
 

Our band is looking for a skilled bass player that can bring creativity, energy and drive to our music. Our play list is 2/3 original songs and 1/3 covers done with a unique spin. Style is heavily influenced by late 70's and early 80's new wave rock and punk (think early Elvis Costello, Joe Jackson, Social Distortion, etc.). Band members are all based in North Coastal San Diego, solid citizens with professional day jobs, age late 30's to 50's, and committed to practicing 1x per week and gigging 2-3 times per month. Lots of skill, chemistry and energy without a lot of ego.

We are focused on gigging mostly in North San Diego County and have played many of the top venues here with plans to book more as soon as our new bandmate is ready. Note that some gigs are paid and some are unpaid "showcase" opportunities. For us it's not about the money, it's about the music, the energy, and winning over the audience.
