That would be North Jersey. We all don't live by the Turnpike you know! I live south of Philadelphia and every time I see a Bassist needed for NJ I go to the thread and ask where about in NJ ? Why do you ask!? Well I am 40 miles south of Philly via Route 55.
There is life in South Jersey just not too much of it though because of the farm land down here we are spread out compared to you guys "upair"

Well when I say I live in NJ people usu ask what exit on the turnpike? I don't live near the turnpike! There is just as much life south and east of that road as there is north.

You should know u live in Mays Landing wow talk about travel. I am as close to you as I am to Philly. (Lets sing it.... On the way to Cape May....) Your GC is closer to me than Cherry Hill GC.

gig

I sure know what you mean about the "what exit" deal!

When you think about it there's no real easy way to the highways for either of us ............ but what the heck .... i'll go where the gig is!

And in response to "On the Way to Cape May " ...... everybody sing .... La La La La La Laaaaa .....

The funny thing is .... only us southern Jersey-ites know how that tune goes on this forum!

about 15 years ago I was asking my boss at the time advice on good places to take a date for the day (I'd recently been transplanted from a life in Sussex County to the middle of Ocean County). He recommended the Cape May Zoo since both myself AND the girl I was attempting to charm were working at the Popcorn Park Zoo at the time. I thought it sounded like a cool idea, grabbed a pen and paper... and asked for directions.

All he said was "Take the parkway south to the first traffic light and turn right."

being a north Jersey guy I couldn't get over the fact that there are traffic lights on the parkway!

Oh and the date went fabulously... she eventually married me
