Sign in to disble this ad
This is quite possibly the funniest thing I have ever seen.
I know this ad is for a bass player, but I have an idea. My band, Kill Bosby, has a drummer named Joe who is completely ripped would fit in perfectly with these guys. And, coincidentally, Joe is moving to LA next year, so he could easily hook up with them.
Since LUX's current drummer appears to not be quite as "cut" as the rest of their band members, I propose a grandiose drummer-swap. Joe is moving to LA anyway, so I think he should drum for LUX. He definitely has the abs for the job.
And LUX's current drummer should move to Omaha and drum for Kill Bosby.
Because we think it would be freakin' awesome to have a ninja drummer.

| | | | What's with the bandana?, I thought it might have been a one-time thing for the mag ad...what's he hiding, a non-muscular chin?
And holy crap, he has the same stupid tattoo on both arms, and it looks like it was drawn with magic marker (or crayons - me thinks it comes off at night).
12 year old rock listeners are in for the ride of their life!
...and dangit it'll work, and they (or someone atleast) will make lottsa moolaa. And then the embassasment will set in. And then it's all over.
World ...Domination ...Cancelled.

But I don't think this bands talent makes up for their ego. Oh dear oh dear... they are even lying about how many friends they have on myspace...
they say they have nearly 50,000 and they have 1/2 of that. Here is the link to see it because they block the link from their page.
Oh well

One of my friends I went to college with is their first cousin. My sister dated him for a while and got to go up for a family deal once. Said their place was huge, and got to listen to them in the studio. Basically their record deal said none of your songs, just the ones we tell you to record, which is where "Mm Bop" came in.
Their own stuff that they write is actually pretty good, and that's saying a LOT, coming from me. I have the CD of the stuff they record and track themselves, as they play lots of instruments and it's very good pop-type stuff if you like it. Much better than most BS that's on "alt radio" today, IMO. |

Yeah they sang a crappy ass song, but for the paycheck they got, who wouldn't? They actually can put it down pretty well. People do it all the time, sing ****** songs they didn't write *cough* Aerosmith *cough*... |
