We are a Huddersfield indie guitar band who originally started back in the late 80’s. We have recently re-formed and are looking for a quality, reliable bass player who is willing to put time and effort in to writing, gigging and recording.
We have a plenty of original tunes (ready to gig) and we are constantly writing new material.
You must have own gear and transport and will be, preferably, local to Huddersfield or be able to travel for regular practices and gigs (We have our own practice studio).
You must be in to indie/alternative/guitar music... we don't want heavy metal thanks.
Bands that we were influenced by back in the day: Wedding Present, Teenage Fanclub, The Jesus and mary chain, Stone Roses, The Boo Radleys, Ride, Velvet Underground.
Bands that we are currently liking are: We were promised Jetpacks, Wedding Present, Band of Horses, Frightened Rabbit...
We are very guitar orientated. Think big guitars, ethereal melodies, pounding beats, hooks and riffs.
