Thumbs up Fun NY Top 40 Cover Band

I am in the process of leaving my cover band, and would like to find them a good replacement.

This is a fun top 40 cover band (pretty loud) playing mostly current pop/rock with some 80's, hip-hop and freestyle mixed in. It really is a fun mix of music, and a great bunch of musicians. The band consists of drums, bass, 2 guitarists, and male and female lead singers. Depending on the place, we do 2 to 3 sets, and average around 40 songs per night.

We play mostly Westchester County, NY with some Long Island and Southern CT mixed in, and average about 4 - 6 gigs a month with about 1 - 2 practices per month. The band is officially / unofficially sponsored by Twisted Tea which means that on some gigs they supply flyer's, schedules, banners, and a couple of Twisted Tea girls to walk around with samples.

The age range is currently late 20's - early 30's, but they are pretty open. I committed to playing through the end of September, but if you are ready to hop on board before that, you are more than welcome. Otherwise, the 1st gig would be late October (the band finally has some time off in the beginning of October which would give you about 2 1/2 months to prepare if you fit in).

If you want to check out the website for our demos, pics, and current + past schedules, go to www.thisistwisted.com

Please write with any questions you may have.

The other members are pretty scattered, so they are always flexible with that. Usually it is somewhere in lower Westchester.

Please do! And feel free to jump up and jam on some tunes. Play as many as you'd like!
