Hey. I'm a successful 23 year old pop/rock singer-songwriter who released an album 2 months ago. I am looking for a talented female bassist to perform as part of my touring band (and possibly become a permanent 'recording' member of the band as well). Other musicians (keyboardists, an additional guitarist, etc.) are welcome to respond for consideration as well. Ideal candidates will be somewhere in the range of 21-35 years old. I've already got a fantastic lead guitarist and drummer, so you will complete the band.
Shows will be sporadic -- the first show will be December 14 in DC. The next show will be in January in Baltimore. Concerts will be regional throughout the mid-Atlantic. You should definitely have no problem being able to maintain a full-time job and/or being able to be in another band in addition to this one. My music is pop-rock... it's not heavy metal and it's certainly not country. It's catchy, melodic, relatively straightforward stuff.
I have a fantastic second guitarist and drummer and need a bassist to round out the group.
So what's in it for you? Well, I will, of course, compensate all performers. In addition, I'm currently represented by a nationally known publicist (whose current clients include Creed and Smashing Pumkins, among others), and I've got 110,000+ followers on YouTube and 17,000+ on MySpace. I will make sure that all participating musicians receive coverage in local, regional, and national press. I am easy to work with and definitely willing to allow you to add your creative touch to my songs. I will provide you with all songs and notation to practice with, and we will get together as a group to practice a few times before the concert.
If it's something you might be interested in, please respond to this thread or send me a PM and we'll go from there.
I look forward to working with you! |
