We have a band that just put out our first CD and have played some cooler venues like local outdoor festivals, NJPAC etc. We perform fusion and jazzrock. We all have prior performing credits and have day jobs and family.
The bassist in the band was the only full time musician in the group, and due to a bunch of things that I won't get into here, led us to finally decide that it was time to search for a replacement. We've discussed it with him and have all amicably parted with the understanding that he would now be considered our 2nd sub for future gigs. A close friend of ours is filling in for our remaining gigs at the moment.

We get together generally a couple of times a month to at most about once a week at my place in Hillsdale, NJ. where I have a recording studio (all of the recorded material was done there). As for gigs, we've been generally getting bookings about once or twice a month.
