I manage a band called Soul Stone Overdrive, based out of Lewisburg, WV. They are influenced by Warren Haynes/Gov't Mule, Jimi Hendrix, Cream, The Allman Brothers, ZZ Top, Led Zepplin, etc. They do a variety of songs, some that are straight up and also songs with improvisational jamming. The band is actively gigging regionally and has built up quite a bit of momentum over the last few months. They have been noticed by major producers and are getting ready to record a few songs at Water Music Studios in Hoboken, NJ/NYC in mid-December. They will also be working with Scott Sharrard (guitarist for Gregg Allman, solo artist, and producer) in the studio. Once this pro-demo is complete more doors will be opening for the band while they continue to build their following locally also.
We are looking for a bass player that is dedicated, focused, has a good positive energy, no ego, loves to play, and wants to take the band to the highest level possible. Must be willing to practice a minimum of 2 to 3 days a week, and more if needed, and be available to play gigs whenever scheduled.
