Looking for bass teacher in Bellingham, Washington

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey, I live in Bellingham, Washington which is about 1 1/2 hours north of Seattle. I got my first bass in mid August but haven't really made much progress so I'm looking for a good bass teacher that can help me out. The genre's of music I listen to are primarily hard rock and metal if that helps. If anyone can point me in the right direction, that would be extremely helpful, thanks.

Amy

Edit: I did end up finding someone though I haven't contacted him yet.

I know what you mean.....

I live in Belfair, in Mason County - if I want to go to Bass Northwest, its at least a hour and 40 minutes (that's if I don't have to wait at all for the ferry).....

Have you posted anything on a bulletin board in the music building at WWU? I'm willing to bet there's at least one bass player there who'd like to make a little money, and anyone good enough to get into that program should be able to give you the jumpstart you want.

I haven't tried that yet but it's not a bad idea. I don't know why I didn't think of that before.
