Looking for bassist in Western CO

Slim chance any of you live around here, but it can't hurt to put it out there.

I've been working with an amazing frontman (singer and guitarist) for about two or three months now, we are officially debuting this new, currently unnamed project on June fourth. Our style is an amalgam of indie/alt rock with a funky backbone saturated with dub, reggae and ska influences. This is the most exciting project i've ever been a part of, and i can't wait to start putting it out there. We have a list of fill in players around here who will fill in with us for now, but we're looking for the right person to really get into it.

Aside from the nine originals we have fully arranged (that just kill!) we're playing a number of covers including the Chili Peppers, Ween, the Pixies and more on the list. At the rate we're going we will have a couple of hours of music by mid-summer and should be ready for full gigs by fall.

I'm on drums for this project, although i'm a bassist too, but we really need a devoted and interested musician to round this out. We have a big sound as a duo, a power trio will be awesome and there is room for more in the future.

We're recording a demo in about two weeks, i'll put the music up for you to check out.

This stuff is hot! I know it's a very long shot, but if you know anyone in western Colorado, hook us up.
