TalkBass Forums - Original Hard Rock Band looking to partner up in Western NY

We are an original hard rock band looking to partner up with a similar band that may be coming through western NY and need a couple gigs. We have about a 45 minute set list right now of our own material and have a few places that we are able to book - but we need someone else to work with us. If you are coming through the area and need a gig, we can help with arrangements locally and get you a couple spots with us on a weekend. Looking to book late April through the summer. We have PA and light support, so no problem there. Mostly 2-400 seat type places, so nothing too big. We are not looking to make lots of money right now, so we will let you keep the pay after we pay our sound guy. If your band is interested, please PM me and we can exchange some demos and see if we can work out some dates. We just want to get some quality gigs in to get our name out there as we build our set list to the point we can fill 3+ hours on our own. We are experienced players that have all played in other bands, so this is a new project for us all.

PS: If you are a touring band coming through our area and need an opening act for a gig already booked we are available and would be happy to send you a demo. Again, not looking to make lots of money right now just want to get our name out there and gain a following before we go in the studio later this summer.
