Some friends of mine in the Phoenix, Arizona area are seeking a prog-metallish bassist for their band Anima Obscura. Their current bassist is moving and thus the need for a replacement. They are great musicians, sort of in the Liquid Tension Experiment, Dream Theatre vein with some more classic prog a la Zappa, Rush and King Crimson mixed in. Super nice dudes to boot. I just listened to them on Youtube. It's not bad, actually.

I bet they could add some cool vocals to that.

Sorry. It's not my ad so I never check it. He's moving away to go to grad school. Amicable split. These guys are too laid back for it not to be.
