Pretty much what the title says. I'm trying to put a progressive rock group together in the San Fernando Valley. Think Rush, Yes, ELP, Genesis, King Crimson, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Conception, ARK... So far, we have guitar, violin, and drums. We yearn for some low end, rumbling like the tummies of orphans! We don't have any material recorded yet, just a bunch of riffs that we've been working on for the past few weeks. The plan is to finish writing, jam, gig, and record. Nothing too intensive.
We live in the northern part of Porn Valley. Two of us are in Burbank and go to school at
Starfleet Academy, the other is in Reseda. We're all in our twenties, but we don't have age bias: so long as the music's happening, come as you are. At the bare minimum, we'd like for you to have gear and one day in the week to rehearse. Transportation is also good, but carpooling is an option within reason.
