Bassist wanted, San Diego California for a (primarily) "originals" and (secondarily) "covers" band.
www.TaylorHarveyBand.com
I am leaving this band after 5 1/2 years - due to family matters.
I am willing to help out as much as I can if there's a need.

Band is "signed" to small, local indy label, and preparing to record an album...for the purpose of "shopping" it to bigger labels in hopes of - well, you know.
Rehearsal space is provided at the moment.
Regular bar gigs are already booked with new dates always being added.
The style is along the lines of roots rock, alt country, Americana, country rock. Best description I can think of is: Petty, the Stones, and CCR combined.
The music is not complicated, but of course you'll need to be somewhat creative to come up with bass lines for the original material.
The covers are mostly played like the records.
Please have own transportation & equipment, and whatever else you may need. It's been a fun time and I will miss it, and I'd like to see somebody here grab the spot.
Please PM me if interested. Thanks a lot for looking.

Updating this;
Due to a lack of response (I guess we bassists are hard to find!) and time constraints, I will be doing the bass on the upcoming CD, so that part (and ONLY that part) is no longer available.
All else remains as stated above.
The good news with that is you'll have to only learn my simple-sh** bass lines - and most likely, you'll be able to improve on them.
Please consider this. It's not an especially difficult gig to play, and chops are not as important as a steady groove and being on time and rehearsed.
Thanks for looking.
