Sub Wanted for NJ & NYC Cover Band

Sign in to disble this ad
I play bass for a busy cover band and need a sub or two to get to know the materials in case I have a scheduling conflict or just want a night off. We play in NYC, Northern NJ and the Jersey Shore and are booked by 107 Productions (http://http://www.107productions.net/).

You can get a listen to some of our material here:
YouTube - ‪daddynobuxnj's Channel‬‏

and our website is DaddyNoBux

Please let me know if you are interested. Our gigs are usually a lot of fun, however subs are still expected to have their own transportation, reliable equipment, arrive early and prepared and of course be able to play the material well. Pay ranges from $100 each to $250 each per gig.

I can be reached at jaysbassspace@gmail.com. Any info you can forward (resume, sound clips, video, etc...) will be helpful.

Thanks,

Jason

Hey Guys,

I already sent Jason an email. But I am looking for bass players to sub for and to find a sub for my gigs. About the same as Jason as far as money goes. But my main gig is a 80's new wave tribute band and I regularly sub for a typical bar band ( sweet caroline, Mr Brightside, Use Somebody, etc.. ) But the bar band may be looking to keep me full time if their current guy takes a gig with another band. So I would definitely like to have someone or multiple guys to have on call that I could trust in the case I get double booked, need a night off, etc..

Email me back Jason, and Phil here is my email if either of you are interested in possible gig swapping.

Thanks Troy

Alright great. I think it would be good for everyone if we had a list of a few people to sub that are reliable. I'll also post recordings of one of my shows this weekend

Hey guys, sorry I haven't gotten back to you earlier. Please email me again if you're still interested in subbing, but I am also looking for my replacement. I work full time in addition to being booked every Friday and Saturday night with the band. I just can't keep up with the schedule any more. Let me know if you or someone you know would be interested in auditioning. Best bet is to send video (if no video, pics, resume and sound clips are ok too) to jlynch34@gmail.com. Good news is I'll be around to sub if you need it! Thanks.

I am also interested in sub work or full time depending on the group. I did the top 40's circut with my former omnipop band Hi-Def, we did all the top venues in the tri-state area. Send me an E-mail with details if needed (OFDMusicman965@aol.com) preferably would like to stick with ny gigs as a sub... thank you

I'd be into subbing as well. Lots of experience with club dates and I know all the tunes. Keep in touch!
