I recently made a decision to put my bass playing aside and get back on guitar. Long story
As a result, I'm launching a new musical project. We'll be playing covers but our own arrangements. Here's the skinny:
1) I'm looking for a mature like-minded bass player who is looking for a musical challenge.
2) Drummer, rhythm guitar player, and singer (when needed) are already in place. These are good friends who can play both blues and jazz and we're all in our early 50's.
3) We take our music seriously but have fun.
4) All of us have day jobs and families. We like to get together and play Monday nights at my drummer's house. We live in the Bathurst/Eglinton/St. Clair area.
5) We've been in gigging bands, both blues and jazz. My drummer is still in a blues band (which I left a year ago as bassist). We're not into it for money but we do intend to gig once we feel that the band is ready.
