Hi my name is Ariane, ex-bassist of tempest. After 3 successful and fun years it is time to move on. The first gigs are mid January. Please look at the ad, pass it around to every bassist you know who might be interested. It is a fun gig and I am happy to recmommend it. i quit with the end of last season. They had someone lined up, but he fell through last mnute because of a pregnancy situation. So they are looking urgently! Please please only reply if all criteria are met and you are passionate about the music.

SF Bay Area based signed touring and recording act,
electric Celtic/European, traditional folk-based rock band,
18 years together, 12 albums, and more than 2000 shows,
seeks flexible, accomplished electric bassist.
Committed professionals only.
Must travel and work well within genre.
No drugs, etc.

The band is located in the San Francisco bay area (Oakland). Gigs every weekend. Many festivals, possibly Europe trip this season. Commitment for a full season (until a bit after Thanksgiving) required. Must be okay with weekly rehearsals, hotel room sharing when traveling and taking over driving shifts. No hired guns, no subbing.
