Hahahaha

Funny,

I'm a bass player in Lansing with the same 3 primary interests.
Thing is, I've got a band I'v been playing in (and writing sngs for) with a drummer, keyboardist, and singer but of all things we need a freakin guitarist.

They're like a dime a dozen!

Good luck finding a bass player to do that kind of stuff for you. It's hard, with those interests. You don't want a thrash metal lug head but you don't want a crazy in your face slap-all-the-time guy either.
If I think of anybody I'll let you know.

Thanks for the reply and/or future support anyway, rtjohn.

It really has been difficult finding people in the area who fit the bill, my guitarist has some pretty high standards. I'm easy, but then, I'm the drummer for this gig. Drums are easy, right?

John!

Another TB from lansing. No crap, we should have a mini GTG

As far as bands go, those are like some of my favorite bands. hmm.. got me thinking, im not really looking for a project, but I would fit the bill. Its hard for me to make a commitments at this time due to personal circumstances however, so I'm not sure it would work.

Hey folks! I'm with CelinderMotoMan in the "I'm probably too old" category and in Lansing MI as well. I like the mini GTG idea though. Good luck on your search!

I'm down with the mini GTG, I have a friend in Grand Rapids that wants to hook up with Ken Jung and I, he just got an Atelier Z 6, I just got a Celinder Update 4 and Ken just got a Avella Coppolo. How fun would that be?

Well I only have my humble little Veillette 7 string but the mix of luthery alone would be interesting for all of us.

Not sure how these things get done but perhaps one of us ought to open a thread in the SE/GTG forum so we stop kidnapping this thread. My appologies to the OP.

ahem...

Are you suggesting the Bowlus Borg or were you simply showing us the forum I mentioned in my last post? I guess your mysterious way of communicating is just too modern for this old man.

As far as the Bowlus Borg...too far away for my very tight time schedule to allow. A mini held here locally made more sense.

I won't be back to this thread though as now I really feel like a kidnapper. Yet your post, my respected moderator, left me no choice given I was suggesting that we move off of this thread to discuss already.
