VA Beach : 60's Surf, Shag, Motown cover band

I will be leaving my band at the end of August (moving out of the area) and they will need a new bassist in short order (you can start as early as you want). Fun gig! We played 5 shows in June and 4 in July.
Here's the low down
- All covers, no originals
- Mostly weekend gigs.
- Weekday rehearsals 1-3 times a month in VA Beach
- Gigs are normally 4 sets, 50 mins each w/ 10 min break btween
- Band has FULL supporting gear (Mains, monitors, amps, lights, professional sound engineer at every gig, stands, etc..) As in show up with your bass and you're good to go. I used my own amp for additional bass monitoring, and they welcome that.
- Gigs all over the greater Hampton Roads area, including at the beach @ 21st street (lots of fun!), Williamsburg, Eastern Shore...
- Band has male and female vox, drummer, keys, sax, and guitar. Everyone sings background vox when they can. You won't have to sing lead, but if you can/want to, just let them know!

Band is, of course, looking for professional ability and attitude. They need someone who can learn the better part of four hours of music in a months time. Hopefully, you'll already know many songs on their list. Please PM me for questions and interest, which I will pass along to the manager.
