Unhappy Amplification issues...

Sign in to disble this ad
Okay, So I have an Ampeg SVT 1000 head, when i attempt to use both my Mesa Boogie 1x15(400 watt peak at 8 ohms) and Fender Bassman Pro 4x10(600 watt peak at 8ohms) together i get a weird buzz when i play really hard, this only happens when i am at about five on the master and 3 on the gain, any more and i dont know what would happen.
When I use each cab separate, there are no problems with this noise(which sounds like a weird electric sound) even when the settings stay the same. I have switched cables, tried both speakon and 1/4 speaker cables, i have tried parallel along with two separate outs to see if this would make a difference, I dont know what to do.
I can't get rid of the sound! Is there something going on that I am not considering?
Please help
Thanks
Ryan

I'm afraid this really isn't the place for gear questions. I'm crap at answering them and I think there are many far better qualified people in this forum that could help you out.

Easy,

Janek
