BASS CABINET or PA SPEAKER ?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi, currently I'm using a 10 channel powered mixer as a bass head and a 15" 3 way Cerwin Vega PA Speaker as a Cabinet for my 5 strings active bass. It sounds good... but don't look good on stage....

I just sent back a combo amp I bought and blew..

I'm thinking on getting just a bass head and keep using my 3 way Speaker... Is this ok ? or can I keep using the powered mixer as the head and get a real bass cabinet ?

Thanks for your help

Hi, I think you should take this to amps/cabs. Check the sticky at the top of this forum which says "DO NOT POST GEAR QUESTIONS HERE".

I use TC Electronic Heads and Cabinets. They're incredible sounding, and that's about all I know.......

Easy,
