Charts?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi Janek,

I'm currently a music student doing a master's degree at the U of Manitoba (Terreon Gully teaches here now), and I would like to do one of your tunes (P.K.) for my recital & to play with my group. Would it be possible to get a chart for that tune?

Thanks!

I'm actually just organizing and designing a page that will have all of my compositions in PDF format available for digital download.

I'll keep you posted.

easy,

Janek

Nice..

I have made a transcription of P.K and the first part of Janek's solo. The second part is pretty hard and I haven't maded it yet. Great tune and amazing solo

Well! It's my take on this tune..

Christian

One more thing - Janek is a really great master of improvisation. He actually know how to play a great solo over a jazz standard His great melodic lines and his phasing is all his. What I trying to say is that Janek steps out of the more typical pentatonic solos that we bassplayers tends to do.

This is funny... in the meantime I also wrote out the tune myself, and learned Janek's solo.
