Depend how much you need it, if you need just a powerful, deep and warm sound a 1x15 or 1x18 it will be great, but you will loose more punch that usually you obtain with small speakers as 10".
More bass player using to add a 410 and 115 or 210 and 115 for this purpose.
Cheers. Enrico

I always find that I try not to rely on my speaker cabinets onstage for super low sounds. If I'm looking to really move some air in a large venue I'll make sure there is a serious sound system in the place and that the front of house engineer know what he or she is doing and get them to push the subs when I need it.

I have had experiences when a pair of 8x10 ampegs onstage have been really rocking in terms of the lowend, but nothing really beats a set of FOH subs with a good engineer.

My little TC RH750 has also been amazing in that sense as it can push any cabinets that get thrown at me, and the DI on the back can send my true sound to the house which is really cool. I can process it all i like with my pedals and really push the house system as much as I want.
