Fingernails?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey there Janek, this might seem like a weird question but I was wondering if you prefer having your fingernails on your plucking hand well-trimmed or do you like to have your fingernail abit short? I was just curious since I was wondering if you pluck the strings with just your fingertips or your fingertips and abit of your fingernails as well(like in classical guitar playing)?

only finger tips and no nails. Nails make an annoying clicking sound on the bass.

I keep my ring finger nail on the right hand a little longer than the finger tip to play false harmonics.

Easy,

Janek
