Finish on my 2006 Fender Precision

I own a 2006 Fender American Precision 60th Anniversary bass guitar. It is a sunset orange transparent ash-bodied bass. Does anyone know what kind of lacquer or type of product was used on the finish? I know that its not nitrocellulose lacquer, but I don't know what Fender used on the American basses in 06.
