Hey Janek,

I'm listening to the Four Brothers groove and I was wondering how you organize this chart out (if there even was one). Do you consider it being 2 chords per measure or one chord per measure but in half-time? Also, could you tell me what the chord progression is for the verse and chorus? For the verse I have Fmin7 Dbmaj7 Bb(min?) and Gb(?), I had some trouble with the chord qualities. In the chorus I see its going Bb to Db to Eb then Bb to Db Eb E F but the qualities are something I'm a little fuzzy on and what the chords are exactly and how you organize and chart them out. If you could provide any insight on hearing chord progressions and qualities that would be great too. Thanks again, Janek!

Hey man,

I've picked up this tune over the past few days and have got an idea of what I think the chords are (mind you, qualities can change, here and there). I'd personally write this song out with it being 1 chord per measure, and write it in half-time.

Fmin7, Dbmaj7(#11), Bb7, Gbmaj7

Cmin7-Bbmin7, Dbmaj7(#11), Eb7 -(2x:E)

(Ab2/C) might be substituted for the Cmin7...

Andrew

Sounds to me like the Gbmaj7 has a #11 as well? Great tune, I'm trying to find where I can d/l it!
