FYI: Don't buy from 55Bar!

Hola TB,

I bought Janek's new CD about two weeks ago from the 55Bar's online store, well I still don't have it. There's no number to call the store, just one for the actual bar itself to speak to a bartender, bummer. I was told to email the owner but have gotten no replies to my emails. $18 bucks down the drain, don't buy from them unless you're there...

I'm waiting for it to hit iTunes. There ain't no way I'm buying it from 55Bar with the cost of shipping (sorry Janek!).

I have contacted the owner of the 55bar, and am working on it right now.

Anyone who hasn't received their order and has waited more than a week since paying for it, please send me an email at mail @janekbass.com with your order receipt and I'll send you one personally from my own box of CD's that I have for promo.

I'm not happy at all with the actions of the 55bar, and am trying to figure out a way to rectify this problem. I'm also in the middle of mixing an album I'm producing for the next three days, I have to go to Pennsylvania for a gig sunday, and then come back to NYC and track drums for three days so the schedule is crazy right now. This was the whole reason I did the new album through someone else this time so that they would take care of orders and shipping. It seems I would have been better off and more efficient doing it myself.

I'm really sorry about this, and I thank you all for your continued support and patience. Please bare with me while I juggle this problem along with my hectic work schedule, and I'll have this fixed asap.

Hey man, it took me about 4 weeks to get mine. Sent several emails, called the bar, sent more emails... anyway, when it got here it was well worth the hassel. Fantastic disk. Hopefully you'll get yours soon.

But seriously I'm sure it will all be taken care of and all will be happy. I have a disc on my MP3 player. Its great stuff. I'd have to check which one thoug.
