Is this a good bass/amp combo for a begginer on a budget?

Hello, i am new to the forum and have recently decided to pick up the electric bass. I was wondering if these were a good combo for a starter guitar/amp. I need to keep it under $200 so if these are not that great, could someone point me in the right direction?
No gear questions as per the sticky posted near the top of the forum... PLEASE DO NOT POST GEAR QUESTIONS HERE To answer your question, though, go for it as long as the bass works and the amp works and you're just starting out.
