Good Electric Bass Starter Packs

What are some good electric bass starter packs I could buy? I know about the bass, but haven't familiarized myself with it.

IŽd go to the bass guitar section, rather than asking Janek. And it doesnŽt HAVE to be a pack.

Squier VM is a great value. Not so sure about the starter packs. Talk to an instructor at your local shop.

If you are starting out, a strap, case and headphone amp would work.
