Help me

I recently picked up a late 1950 or early 1960 4 string electric bass. It has 1 volume knob and 2 other knobs near the neck. It has 6 black switches with 2 settings up or down. The back is shaped like my jazz bass, the horns are cut short but if longer would look like a jazz bass. It has 3 steel pickups,it has the initials APT on the back where the neck bolts on. I was told it was made in Russia. Any info would be appreciated. Thank you.
