Question Hiss?

Sign in to disble this ad
I have an Ashdown Mag 300H Evo II Head powering a Mag 410T deep cabinet. I play on an Epiphone Goth Thunderbird IV. For a few months now, I've been getting a terrible hissing. What might be the problem?

I sorry, I'm really not a gear person. And I feel a little silly trying to answer gear questions when there are so many more greater qualified people on this forum that can help you out.

I would imagine your hissing is coming from the volume and the gain settings being wrong, perhaps a flat battery in your electronics if it's active..... but I really don't know.

Easy,

Janek

Perhaps its the tweeter on your cab? or the treble settings on your bass? if there is a tweeter control on the back of the cab then try turning that down, if not then try turning down the treble control on your bass.
