How is it to play with Oz Noy ?

Janek,
I have been following your bass blog for a while (great stuff btw) and noticed that the latest "album" you released has Oz Noy playing guitar.

I really enjoy Oz's playing and concept on guitar. How do you find playing with him ?

kind of a nebulous question I know, but I am curious.

Thanks

well Oz is badass! his time and sound are really great, he's a cool cat to hang with, and I've always wanted to do more playing with him.

This week in NYC seemed like a perfect opportunity to step outside my regular hang and try something new, and it really worked out great I think.

Someone like Oz can walk into any situation and sound incredible, so that's one thing I like about him. But the main thing is that he has his own sound, his own melodic sensibility, and can listen to everything that's going on around him before playing a single note. There's a lot to be said for that in any musician.

Janek.
