He usually uses a P bass. I guess being in NYC, he thought he should use the Fodera. That was also his new TC Electronic rig he put together.

Great tone, I don't how much of it is the bass and how much is Janek's really clean technique.

Agreed, really looking forward to his studio album. His two live albums are both killer. I highly recommend picking them up if you haven't!

Yes, Janek, and the Fodera sounded awesome.. They always do. :-) I would imagine they would have taken a direct feed on the bass, don't you think?

The Fodera does sound great, but listen to this P!!! Especially when he hits that F in the chorus!!!! What a great growl!!!!

2. quick Questions'1. Was your bass tuned with a low B or a Dtuner? thought I heard some lower notes 2.As Md did you put the band together or was it put together when you got the call?

His Fodera is typically tuned E-C, and I think the lowest note I heard there was the F in the chorus.

I've also seen different incarnations of the band (including bassist).

I know I'm not Janek, but I thought I would chime in.

I believe that Matt Garrison's Fodera is tuned the same way.
