I had got a call that day to fly back to NYC from LA where I was to do the Angie Stone gig. But then I think I also got called for a good paying record date at the same time and ended up staying in LA a few extra days, playing on the record, and then flying back to NYC to prep for the NERVE tour with JOJO Mayer in asia and Europe. So I never played with Angie in the end as the schedule got so full with other stuff. it's pretty crazy how quickly all that can change in one day.
Ah I see.. Was this before or after Jackie Clark was playing with Angie? I like his work with her but can only imagine what you would bring to the table.
