I'm trying to compile a list of Jazz standards that utilize Melodic Minor harmony (as well as regular Major harmony) for an assignment. Anyone know of some???

stella by starlight
autumn leaves
blue bossa
invititation

just a few off the top of my head

you could really argue that any standard with a minor II-V uses melodic minor harmony

that really sounds like an assignment for school.......

I would try and be bold and ask the teacher why on earth someone would ask you to do that? the less you actually have to think about what harmony is in terms of it's technical analysis the sooner those aspects of music will be in your sub conscious, and be part of your natural language.

Easy,

Janek
