first of all janek, thank you for the podcast on juan alderete! it's great to see one of my heroes so candidly spill his guts about effects, but: when's part 2 coming? i can't wait any longer!

hey janek, just saw the juan video and it was fantastic! the best part was finding out we have the same taste in bass cab mics (heil pr 40). excellent job.

man I just sold every pedal I have, so I can renew my gear, and after watching this my brain is fried...

Good videos

I had trouble with the second part, though-- I wound up having to download the video rename it from a .mov to .m4v before it would play though, it kept crashing my browser.

I was particularly interested by the discussion of traveling light and grabbing gigs on short notice-- I thought bigger bands like the Mars Volta couldn't really do that.

sorry to hear you were having trouble with it.

What's your setup? OS/Browser?

I would love to be able to trouble shoot that problem and try and make sure it's not an issue in the future.
