Janek it was awesome getting to finaly meet you at NAMM this year. the slurs and pull offs you do are extremely vocal and sound very smooth. where did you pull these from? what are you doing when you play songs like Scarlet Woman?

well I think I've only ever played scarlet woman once on a weather report tribute album with Scott Kinsey......

A lot of those phrasing ideas are from players like pat metheny with the slurs that you mention. Some of my influences include Allan Holdsworth, John Scofield, Nils Peter Molvar, Chick Corea, Freddie Hubbard...... the list is fairly endless, but these are some of the cats I really checked out and transcribed for phrasing ....
