i have been playing bass guitar for only a year and a half, but eventually i would like to audition for a local band. most of them want you to have professional gear... so what does this include? and which brands are the best?

-thank you in advance!

Well it's all a matter of taste.

I recommend Fender Bass Amplification. It's the truest sounding gear I've ever played, and is the best stuff on the market.

Easy,

Janek

Hi Janek,

Which one of the Fender amps do you use?

I'm using the TB-1200 with a 6x10 cabinet and a TB-600 with a 2x10 cab on the west coast. And in NYC I'm using The TBP-1 pre amp with the FBA power amp, with 2 2x10's.

Easy,

Janek
