Low volume output on G string

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello,

It's maybe a silly question but does anyone know how to increase the output volume of my G string? Im playing an American Standard Precicion bass, and it's a bit shite to lose all the loops on my G string during a gig. Anyone knows how to fix this ? Thanks in advance.

Have you tried adjusting the pickup height to favour the higher strings? I've found heavier gauge strings help with this as well, although there's pro's and cons to this approach!

I'll give it a try, thanks a lot for the response!
