typical settings ?
I've got the settings from the manual,
http://www.americaspedal.net/fx32/fx32settings.jpg
I tend to keep the settings close to their first,"thick bass" setting, and tweak it at soundcheck to fit the room or instrument I'm playing.
the thing is SO powerful, I always double check it before I go onstage
as u know, u can tap it on and just shred speakers,it'll sound like an atom bomb if it's set too intensely.
I have a " big,huge bass" setting
where the low octave is hard to hear, it's more "felt" like a giant subwoofer,
I keep the octave("meat")
a bit lower, (they can get synthy or fuzzy)
I raise the super lows a bit(" rump")
9:30, 2 o'clock , 12, 1
I use this setting mostly. To kick in the bottom on tags/final choruses, instrumental breaks,jams..
I need a PA or a good rig to really get the full effect.
I also have another setting that sounds more synthy, where u can plainly hear the low octave. I use that setting less. It's more like a Boss OC approach.
love to hear how u like to set it.
I'd appreciate it immensely !
Your podcast does a great service to players like me, thanx for generally just enriching the "scene" I especially like when u touch on the vintage bass fx, so little info online on the subject.. Thnx!
