I'm very proud to announce the release of my third album as a leader today. It's available and shipping world wide from - www.janekgwizdala.com

It features Jojo Mayer - Drums, Airto - Percussion and vocals, Tim Miller - Guitar, Audun Waage - Trumpet, Bob Reynolds - sax, James Valentine - Guitar, Doug Wamble - Guitar and Vocals, and Mike Stern on guitar.

Right now the album is being shipped in it's physical form. It will be available via iTunes at some point over the next month, but for now just the physical form.

The cover of Little Dragon's Twice is on the album, yes.

Do you have plans to tour with the group around the US in the next year?

i'm trying really hard to put some dates together in the US for the band right now. It's always the toughest place to tour with a band like this, but I'm really trying....

yep, I'll have CD's with me in Europe for the clinic tour for sure.

And the album will be available for download at some point soon through all the major digital outlets, and I'm working on something for it to available through my website for download as a zip file for the time being.

This is a great record! I had a great time recording and mixing it... It transcends a lot of genre lines and (obviously) has some SERIOUS playing.

Janek, i picked up your new record on Art on Earth tonight and i gotta say its smokin'...its so groovy!

Also, i really like what you've done to Four Brothers...it seems like you're always updating that tune!

What's with the meta data, though? Album title reads "The Space in Between master", track titles start with the sequencing number but tracks are not tagged as belonging together, track titles have no capital letters, album cover art is not included etc. Not having a go, just wondering.

that's a very good point.... and it looks as though I've uploaded the wrong freakin tracks to AOE...... balls.

They are the mastered and final tracks, and exactly what's on the album... but I guess I hadn't put them into iTunes and loaded the metadata yet. Bugger....

I will try and fix that asap....

What do you mean by wrong tracks?? I encountered the same thing but i went through and renamed and numbered everything.

They are the right songs, right tracks, they are the masters, etc etc... they just hadn't been meta tagged in iTunes before I uploaded them.....
