Looks good Janek - nice and simple and does all you need it to do - see you in London in April.

Looking forward to it.

I would love to come up to Canada and play soon. It always comes down to a promoter or club owner taking a risk though. And it's not cheap to get four guys up there for a show with hotels, wages, food, travel etc....

If there's anyone out there that knows someone who is up for doing that, or is up for doing that themselves let me know.

The thing is, if it's promoted in the right way it's really not that hard for a promoter to make their money back, and if there's a clinic thrown in it makes it easier to pay the band what they need.

It's not cheap, but it's really not crazy expensive either.

TALK TO ME CANADA!

bwah ha ha ha ha

You should to get in contact with Joel at www.upstairsjazz.com. I know they've been doing this sort of thing for a while when they invite famous jazzmen from the states and make them play 2 nights in a row. Recently we had Bill Steward, Steve Kuhn and Steve Swallow.

Also, I'm pretty sure we could arrange a clinic like we did last year at l'UQAM or at my college.
